This year the SCE 2024 happened at McCormick Place Convention, USA Chicago, bringing together coffee enthusiasts and professionals from around the world. This three-day expo (12th-14th April 2024) is believed to be North America’s largest B2B event for specialty coffee professionals. SCE is a platform for coffee industry players to showcase not only their innovations and exchange ideas but also a place to celebrate the craft of specialty coffee.
SCE Chicago 2024 X Ecotact: Unveiling The Future Of Coffee Packaging
Over 575 exhibitors showcased their most impactful products and services at the Expo. Visitors met with professionals from across the industry, including roasters, retailers, producers, importers, and baristas. Amidst the bustling atmosphere of the SCE Chicago 2024, Ecotact proudly represented its eco-friendly and sustainable packaging solutions, while celebrating the pioneering trends in the world of green coffee bean, cacao bean, and other grain packaging. As an esteemed participant in the expo since 2012, this year Ecotact showcased its cutting-edge products, aimed at redefining and revolutionizing the hermetic packaging landscape.

Introducing Ecotact’s new product: The Ecotact Penta Pak 12.5, was displayed in the “best new product” area at the SCE. Crafted with the five-panel protection and pentagon design, Ecotact Penta Pak 12.5 stays firmly on a flat surface thus leading to the preservation of the green coffee beans, cacao beans, or other food grains. These eco-friendly coffee bags maintain farm-freshness for over 365 days. The highlight of the bags is that they’re customizable according to size and prints. Being highly preferred by green coffee beans, cacao beans, and other grain traders, these hermetic storage bags can sell coffee in lots of 10kgs to roasters & consumers.
The Ecotact booth: At SCE (booth #1046), Ecotact members from more than 5 continents came together to man the booth. The Ecotact Ship Shield Hermetic Container Liners, known for preserving produce during periods of shipment delays or crisis, garnered huge attraction at the expo. Perfect for storage and transportation of grains, these hermetically sealed containers were especially popular amongst coffee growers and exporters.
